New Role:

Area Worker (Mid Cornwall) | Falmouth - Truro - St. Austell

24 hours per week

£24, 228 pro rata

We are looking for an energetic and motivated new team member to work with young parent families across Truro, Falmouth, and St. Austell.

Whilst it’s important to have experience working with children, young people, and wider families, it’s imperative to us that you can use a PACE approach to deliver work which is trauma informed. Overall, you need to be committed to achieving lasting positive change for young parents and their children.

The work you will be delivering will be group work, one-to-one, and outreach, both in person and virtually. This requires you to be motivated, organised and have strong communication skills. You will be building relationships with many vulnerable families and will need the ability to mentalise others, and confidently apply safeguarding and child protection practices where necessary.

At WILD, our culture is a level-playing field. Everyone is heard, valued, and supported equally and with care. We take our values and ethics seriously due to the nature of what we do. We are seeking a new member of the team who is informed with a flexible and agile approach to the work. You will hold the WILD vision and mission close to your everyday work, and when visualising success for the families you work with.

We offer:

  • Family friendly working

  • Fantastic holiday allowance

  • Hybrid working

  • Individual well-being support packages

  • Opportunity to be part of a flourishing organisation that is making a difference to young parent families

Deadline for applications 22nd April 2022 noon

Interviews will take place over 2 days Monday and Tuesday 9th & 10th May 2022
