How are WILD supporting young families during the COVID-19 pandemic?

WILD work with young parents, children and babies in the most deprived areas of Cornwall.

Even before the pandemic many of these families were facing huge challenges.

At this particularly difficult time, we are supporting in three ways

We are checking that families are able to meet their basic needs and understand key health messages. We are supporting with finances, food and staying connected.

Social Contact and Supporting Mental Health

We are running online group activities and offering 1:1 support. This includes online activities for babies and children with a focus on attachment building and communication. The groups provide a space in which the families can also support each other.

Providing and Maintaining Links

We are building and maintaining links with other service providers, aiming to build a safety net of services.

Please support WILD in keeping these young parents, children and babies well!

You can click on the donate button below to help us keep them happy, healthy and safe.

Even a small donation can make all the difference.
