Help us to support the most vulnerable young families through this crisis

How are WILD supporting young families during the COVID-19 pandemic?

WILD work with young parents, children and babies in the most deprived areas of Cornwall. Even before the pandemic many of these families were facing huge challenges.

At this particularly difficult time, we are supporting in three ways

  1. Essentials- we are checking that families are able meet their basic needs and understand key health messages. We are supporting with finances, food and staying connected.

  2. Social Contact and supporting mental health: we are running online group activities and offering 1:1 support. This includes online activities for babies and children with a focus on attachment building and communication. The groups provide a space in which the families can also support each other.

  3.  Providing and maintaining links- we are building and maintaining links with other service providers, aiming to build a safety net of services.

Please support WILD in keeping these young parents, children and babies well!

Even a small donation can make all the difference.
