A WILD time with Imagine Outdoors at Newquay Orchard

We are so excited about our new collaboration with Imagine Outdoors, a Cornwall based Outdoor Education Community Interest Company who are passionate about creating fun learning experiences in the natural environment.

Co-founder, Matt (aka Pinky) and his team invited us to hold a family session at Newquay Orchard this Summer and we will definitely be back!

Our families enjoyed a walk and song time followed by outdoor playtime and a picnic in the beautiful grounds. They then took part in a 'Forage and Fire' session, where they foraged for herbs in the orchard, learnt how to make a fire, and made campfire bread rolls using the herbs they picked to flavour them.

The session was an amazing sensory experience for our WILD babies and children and a great opportunity for all families to enjoy nature and the outdoors. Our WILD parents told us they really enjoyed the chance to connect with their children and each other.

Research shows that access to nature improves mental health and attachment between parents and their children, which is why being outdoors is such a big part of life at WILD.

We are super grateful to Imagine Outdoors and Newquay Orchard for having us and can’t wait to visit again soon!
