Last week, WILD's Ellie Nicholas attended the 25th anniversary celebration of the KPMG Foundation, an event that also paid tribute to their departing CEO, Judith McNeill. The KPMG Foundation has supported WILD since 2022, to develop and support its strategy and vision of a fair start for young parent families.

The event was hosted at the KPMG offices at Canary Wharf in London. Over 150 guests attended, including current and former Trustees, colleagues from KPMG, charity partners, leaders from other Trusts and foundations, and policymakers.

There was an opportunity to meet and talk to guests from across the different sectors, showcase the work of WILD and hear from the Trust and its partners. The event wrapped up with a short film showcasing some of the charities supported by the Foundation in the 25 years since it was formed with a vision of improving the lives of young people in the UK’s most disadvantaged communities.

We were delighted and immensely proud to not only feature in the film but for it to also end with a full screening of Rant Club, the original music video written and produced by WILD Young Parents. As always, the video captured the attention of everyone in the room, causing quite a stir.

It was a privilege to represent our young parent families in that room and for their voices to be heard by people and organisations that may seem out of reach but, who now know their story and have the power and influence to create positive change for them.
